Dre is the Program Coordinator of the Newman Catholic Center in Chico. Dre has 18 years experience in music ministry, campus ministry, and parish youth and young adult ministry in the Diocese of Sacramento and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This time includes 4 years as the Director of Youth Ministry at St. John the Baptist Parish, Chico. Two years ago Dre made the move back home after spending 8 years in Ventura County. She loves working alongside our dedicated college students here at the Newman Center. When she isn’t working she likes to spend time with her Godchildren Ben and Lucy.
We asked Dre three unusual questions to find out a little more about what makes her tick.
What’s the best thing to do on a cold winter day? Make a huge pot of coffee and binge a good Netflix series.
Where is the worst place you have lived? I lived on Oahu right after I graduated college and I hated it, I moved back as soon as I could.
What food do you crave most often? Coffee. Does that count as food if it’s the thing I consume most throughout the day? If it doesn’t count, then…sushi.
