Director |
Monica Zuchelli
Monica is the Director of the Newman Catholic Center in Chico. Monica grew up in Gilroy, CA (Garlic Capital of the World), but she went to school in Davis and worked as the Youth Minister in Chico after graduating. As an alumni of the Davis Newman Center, she loves being able to return to her roots and serve with a campus ministry program. When she isn’t working she likes to drive to new places with her dog and listen to good playlist (probably Taylor Swift). We asked Monica three unusual questions to find out a little more about what makes her tick. What’s one thing that can instantly make your day better? Listening to Taylor Swift or playing with my dog Raven! Being around my nieces also always brightens my day. What's one food that you've tried but would never eat again? I've had garlic ice cream before, and I can honestly say that I would not recommend that to anyone else. What is your favorite way to spend a day on the beach? Eating an acai bowl, boogie boarding, and then taking a nap (with lots of sunscreen on, of course.) |
Program Coordinator |
Zack Seibert
Zack is the Program Coordinator of the Newman Catholic Center in Chico. Born and raised in Chico, he is excited to serve and give back to the community that raised him. When he isn't working, Zack likes to go to the gym, hangout with friends, and watch sports (baseball, basketball, football). We asked Zack three questions to find out a little more about what makes him tick: If you could only watch one sport for the rest of your life, what would it be? Very tough question. If I had to choose just one, it would have to be baseball, Go Yanks! You could be anywhere in the world for 24 hours, where would you choose? Honestly, wherever my family and I could all be together. What food do you crave the most often? Hate to say it but it has to be donuts, shout out Donut Nook. |
